Started out a little dull and drizzly today so we just pottered around the town. It's about 150 m down to the port and little beach - lots of steps
You've got to do the little train tour as well

Sorrento is supposedly the place where the Sirens of Greek mythology fame operated and tempted sailors onto the rocks. Legend has it that Ulysses tied himself to the mast and filled his ears with wax to avoid temptation - the trouble some go to to avoid hearing the ladies..........
Our plan for tomorrow - a jaunt to Napoli has been scuppered due to a lightning train strike on Friday - apparently they can't decide who can open the train doors either.
So... no Bond films were ever shot in Sorrento although many were filmed in Italy, particularly Venice. But apparently Bond hunk, Pierce Brosnan went on record recently as saying he was totally in love with the place or more specifically the 16th century villa he was staying in whilst shooting a new movie. A Polaroid Facebook friend is staying in Sorrento this week and I,m seeing similar pictures from her. You've probably been sitting on the next breakfast table! Keep the pictures coming. Those stairs look scary by the way ..
